Program Terms and Conditions
The promotion is open to both residents and non-residents.
The City of Crystal Lake has allocated $150,000 to provide gift certificates for this program. Gift certificates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, while funds are available.
For a vehicle purchase to be eligible, the final taxable amount, after trade-ins or other rebates, must be at least $10,000.
The buyer of the vehicle is responsible for submitting the application, and copies of the sales receipt and form ST-556 to the City of Crystal Lake.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for gift certificate processing.
The City of Crystal Lake is not responsible for incomplete forms or late, lost, illegible, stolen, delayed, un-postmarked, postage due, or misdirected mail.
The denomination of the gift certificate is based on the vehicle's taxable sales price, after trade-ines or other rebates, and not including sales taxes.
